Lambda of Texas State

Lambda of Texas State was started to provide a positive social and educational environment for Texas State’s homosexual, bisexual, and transgender students and their straight allies. We are dedicated to pursuing a more diverse climate among this institution’s population.

Meetings are open to the public and held every Wednesday at 5:30pm at the LBJ Student Center, room 3-5.1. After more than 20 years, Lambda has had a rich history on the Texas State campus, but we’re always looking for new faces. We encourage everyone to attend and bring a friend!

Lambda of Texas State was named “Organization of the Year” by USAC for the 2009-2010 school year! We hope to keep up this level of excellence throughout this next school year and into the future.

You don’t have to be OUT to be IN!

Humor

“The joke’s been done to death, but when it comes out of the mouth of a middle schooler and he gets detention for it, we can’t help but applaud. Sure detention sucks, but it was totally worth it. Well done, Dalton, well done.”  GO here —> http://www.tinyurl.com/ygz7qqp

OBAMA-NATION

PREZ

President Obama made a surprise appearance in Afghanistan where he met with Afghan President Hamid Karzai. “Americans back home are encouraged by the progress that’s been made”…Eh…Now that he’s said that I can’t even begin to tell you how many people are completely with out a doubt against our pursuit of this crazy battle.  During his running campaign he stated that he would evacuate our troops then as one of his first acts as president he bumped up the troops stay to 16 more months.  Now, If you know me I’m not a big fan of President Obama but at least he’s accomplished a bit while being in office, like his plan on universal healthcare…that’ll work. NOT. OBVIOUSLY he’s a good speaker AND an intelligent man

Grreeeeat

    First Class Idiot

    The Infamous Jesse James

Reports are saying (perezHilton) and if it’s from PerezHilton then it must be true. JK.  Besides that, rumor has it that he is an alleged Nazi.  Is this acceptive in our society? But if it isn’t bad enough that He has cheated on the most amazing beautiful talented actress in the world, Sandra Bullock, now we have to hear that he’s a Nazi. How did Sandra put up with this???  Betty white is definitely not a fan of  Jesse right now…fur surrrrrrrre.   Tiger woods got extremely lucky and is forever in debt to jesse james for taking the spotlight off him and his recent battle between him and his wife.  What is the matter with men! why are they cheating on their wives.  …”You should order men like a pizza, Dark Hair, Green Eyes, 6 Foot, and NOOO CHEEEEESE”  - Spice World

It’s a good thing I have a loving father who is faithful to my mom for 32 years.

    …I know my dad’s watching

So I’m positive my dad will see this, but I’m considering dropping my stats class and retaking it next semester!! I have one day to decide…actually less than a day…And i have no idea what to do.  School is so confusing to me.  I never know what to wear and on top of that I have no idea what I’m going to do in the future.  Where will my degree in Mass communications in print Journalism take me…many places actually, but it’s all about the connections. (And as I’m feeling depressed, I can hear the rain drops begin to hit against my window) A sad sad life i lead at the moment.  I need a job too, Freck my life, so many things are happening in my life that i can’t make sense of it all.  It’s like trying to catch a butterfly, so many decisions, but which one to take on first  Haha, i think i used a correct analogy, if not AGAIN I fail at life.  I have no idea where I’m being led, but I always feel like i’m going in the right directions.  Like my mom always says “You always leave it to chance”, but i always thought that was a clever way to make decisions: To just go with the flow, go wherever the wind takes you….that’s a bunch of bull!@#$  whatevs…I’m getting cheese fries

    Here’s a hilarious video ( a parody of Lady Gaga’s Telephone)
